Scholarship Tips

• Apply for scholarships year-round.
• Pay close attention to deadlines.
• Keep a résumé of your activities, honors, volunteer service, and leadership experiences.
• Ask teachers, counselors, or community leaders for recommendation letters early.
• Proofread every application before submitting it.
• Never pay to apply for a scholarship.
